I was dissapointed in the beastie boys show at the gorge.
They put on a good show, but they didn't play any of the old stuff from licensed to ill, and paul's boutique albums, I thought they were suppose to play their instrumental show on saturday, not both days.

What's this "Paul Revere Albums" you speak of?

You should have went to MSG concert in 2004 or buy AIFST if you want to hear them play earlier songs with the more recent. Also your 'review' seems a lot different from what others are saying. Sounds like they owned the festival at least until the weather went downhill:

I agree with everybody else that they were the best band there, and they put on a good show, but i was just hoping for some of the old stuff, like no sleep til brooklyn, fight for your right to party, girls, and hey ladies.

I agree. Hey Ladies would have been a good one to throw down. I hoped to hear Girls as well, and maybe No Sleep. I'm actually glad that they have laid "Fight 4 Your Right" to rest though- while it is a good song, I think that the irony behind it's intended meaning and how it changed the band during those early years is kind of a sad thing.
Still, I was not disappointed, and glad they played a lot of thier instrumentals- It's what I really wanted to see anyway.
And....If you did not catch Common Market on the Yeti stage, check them out. IMO, a close #2 to the BBoys at the show. http://www.myspace.com/commonmarket
