I used a program called mixmeister (http://www.mixmeister.com/download_freestuff.html) that counts your bpms. I ran the pellas through it, also just to see what it said. Just realize the program might not pick the correct bpm when the acapella is ran through. Most likely the original beat of the song is more appropriate.... Does that make sense?

A list of results compared to what was previously listed (by BBoys.com) is both up. If you had time you could also run all the albums and get the bpms of all the songs.....

Anyways.... Get remixing... Enjoy -DJ Skrilla

iused that thing before, its definately good but not reliable. you're better putting a metronome on over it and finding the right tempo like that

Yeah same here, i have the mixmiester program, but use Acid Pro's beatmapper for official bpm.....I usually throw it in Mixmeister to get an idea, then beatmap it in
Acid....I remember saying to myself that there is no way that B For My Name is 188bpm or Off the Grid 152bpm.....It's a cool program to find the tempo quick, but like Zap said, it's not really that reliable.......Thanks for the info tho, Skrilla..:)

dude who has a metronome? what are you some sore of paino fancy?

jp.... I used to have one for when I played the drums. I also do have a roland pocket bpm for when I dj, it comes in very handy. Worth the $80 bucks.

I think you can cut this BPM's in half..... like 94 and 76 bpm....

Right right...That usually does work....

Acid uses a metronome in Beatmapper, no? And there is an option to turn it off/on..

the bpms for the pellas that we had are right. the bpms for those instrumentals are wrong because they weren't recorded over a click track so there is no definite tempo.

Precisely. I never had any real problems with the provided bpm's from BB.com......I always have problems beatmapping live music, tho...Well I mean if the song was recorded with real instruments....
