so just stop it. wait 20 more friggen days to get yer filthy mitts on it. its so great to recieve the whole thing as a complete work and experience it at once the way it was meant to be - with video extras, artwork, pics, liner notes, all that.

stop playin it, stop posting it, stop linking it, stop leakin it. you're free to take leaks in the bathroom at your own discretion, just don't leak the album anymore.

addy rocker says so on the main page (http://www.beastieboys.com/?p=21). he also says, "hrmifflegaggamrnt". don't forget it, son.

I'll stick my balls in your moms mouth if she asks me, because last night when I was over her house she was asking me to, but I was like naw man, you're Pshabi's mom. But tonight when I go over there again I'm gonna let her go buck wild on 'em.

Tommorrow I'll make a thread telling you how she did.

That video of Octane peeping the robot porn is pretty funny.

I think he was checking out Elita One, otherwise it was just some random.

Apparently M2M is actually "Men to Men." He thought he was downloading gay porn and ended up with a Bboys album he didn't want. Here I thought he was talking about something totally different. My apologies Rob.

Hahaha! I can see how frustrating it would be for them seeing all their fans talking about the new album they downloaded almost a month before it was even released. That would piss me off. But I guess it's just something you can't stop since it's out there and so tempting...I got will power though.

They haven't said a thing about everyone downloading their album, except a joke on the front page. You're acting like they're Metallica or something, suing their fans.

They aren't complaining when they have the right to, really.

I dont see the point of downloading a CD, especially when it's the CD of an artist you really respect. I havent downloaded it and I wouldnt even though I can because there's something so impersonal about it; just clicking DL on a site and voila it's on your computer. I'd rather wait in anticipation to hear it, then get up at 8am to go buy the CD first thing in the morning, tear off that plastic and take in that new CD smell. I wanna pop it into my CD player, put on some huge headphones and just sit back and listen. I dont understand why people dont want that anymore. Could you imagine how sucky Pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon would be if you sat there listening to it on your computer while typing "omg lol" to someone you've never met before - INSTEAD of smoking a joint, then going to sit in your dark room alone? It would suck!

i downloaded it around around 3:00 PM, though specifically waited until around 10:30/11:00 PM so i could ride my bike to a hilly area by my house, lay down in the grass, smoke a joint, and listen to it blaring on my headphones as I stared at the stars.

just because i snatched it early doesn't mean i didn't appreciate the magnitude of the situation. do i wish i could have waited? sure, but when it comes down to it the music's 95% of the thrill. i can wait for the liner notes and artwork til the 26th. im sure im not the only one who maximized their first listen. peeping it on computer speakers for the first listen is totally bogus, though. talk about selling yourself short.

see, I can respect that, because thats what im trying to say. When you get so hyped up for a CD like this, Downloading it and listening to it on a computer is just so... wrong.

My thoughts exactly! I'm glad to hear someone so young feels this way! :)

I remember every Beasties purchase I ever made, all the way back to LTI on cassette at Tower Records on 66th & Broadway, now closed.

It's not so much about the artists' bottom line -- great & successful artists (like the Webby-award-winning Beasties!) have learned to use the internet to their advantage and accept the inevitable fact that anything digital will make its way to the masses. And plenty of good people & true fans download! I can't imagine this band is uptight about the leak's effect on sales. What I'm sure they DO want, however, is for fans to experience the event of an official release date complete with high-quality audio and great-smelling liner notes.

Also, I bet they'd like us to buy the album dressed nicely. If you're at the computer in skivies that's not very special.
