talib kweli's new album already leaked!

ya, so i was on wikipedia and i saw that talib kweli's new album leaked today, and it's not due out until july 24. thats like over a month and a half before. this could be a new record!!

It leaked on the weekend. It's also a pretty so-so album.

I read that Rick Rubin was producing a song on the album.

Does anyone know if anything ever came of it?

I was in 2 minds about grabbing it. Talib kweli is the kind of artists who's album I would download and, unfortunately, never really give a good listen to but I would if I actually owned the cd....I dunno. I'll see how long I last.

Yeah, wikipedia now says that it only leaked yesterday but I see a copy that was out on, at least, the 3rd. When I was on wikipedia the other day it claimed that a copy had leaked but it wasn't the full album. It also had the track listing at 17 tracks with the last one being about dilla (where as the leaked copy was 16), now it just says 16 tracks. Another track listing has it in at 17 tracks with "16."Something Special" (featuring Sizzla)" which also isnt on the leaked copy. So, I dunno, has there been a second leaked copy?

a month plus isnt bad. Back in Napsters heyday I remember Stankonia and Warriorz both leaking at least four months before they came out.

Which is strange as I didnt think the last track would be commercially available. If you havn't heard it check it here (http://youtube.com/watch?v=5U-rZf4ayos). Surely there's licensing issues here? Unless it isnt the same track.
