[Kid Presentable]

I swapped this kid a carton of beer for his N64. I have Goldeneye (natch) and Mario 64. I haven't played the thing since it came into my possession, but I have holidays coming up. I'm gonna dust it off and fire it up.

I'm gonna get some controllers; one of the wife's friends is crazy about multiplayer Bond, as is one of my friends. So the Bond party is sort of decided.

Anyway, is Mario 64 any good? And also, what are some other games to get? Go into detail if you may, I like descriptive interviews with lots of fluffy prose, and experiential anecdotes. Quite excited about Retro gaming, as I skipped the 64 when it dropped.

Bond parties! God, I haven't had a multiplayer Bond game in about a year now. I used to love that shit. License to Kill mode, paintball mode, temple level, pistols or proxy mines. Awesome. (y)

I didn't really like Mario64. I think they were more focused on graphics than they were on having a good plot.

i never got far at donkey kong nor mission impossible 64
maybe cause it was impossible LOL

still prefer snes

Also, yes Donkey Kong was a great game (y) I don't think I ever beat King R Rool in the boxing match though...

I was really young when I played it and I could get really close but I never got to the final fight :(

If you want good single player games then definitely check out the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Paper Mario.

If you want a multi-player game then I highly reccomend Mario Kart 64 (y)

Goldeneye is such a good game it makes my kidneys hurt... Ditch the proximity mines though. That fucks shit right up.
