I thought it was shit, but it lead me to find out about Der Untergang (the movie the footage comes from). It looks like a powerful depiction of Hitler's final days that would almost make the monster human, without making him sympathetic. I'm gonna rent it next week.

I was laughing and feeling bad about it at the same time. Might be a cultural phenomenon though, Hitler=bad is a given at school, so let me know if you liked it. Not knocking Ganz, but the drunk soldiers with the hookers were too much...

Yeah that movie is called Downfall. I have it on DVD - it's very good indeed.

Contrary to the rest of europe's opinion, Hitler jokes are quiet played out over here. You do one when you're really drunk it's no biggie, but no more, 'cause you'd make an ass out of yourself.
