so it's almost scary what an amazing high or low you can get depending on how well your team is doing.
I was at the Pad's game last night. Fantastic seats but the game itself was going down the drain. So that felt pretty shitty so I medicated myself with more alcohol. My friend and I stuck it out and at the bottom of the 9th! HOLY FUCKING CRAP! We were going insane and once it was over I was on one of the most amazing highs from being so excited and happy we swept smell-A and what a freakin come back.
hehehehe
I read about the 1994 World Cup on Wikipedia. This made me laugh.
The opening ceremony featured a performance by Diana Ross, who then completely missed the open goal when she took a penalty kick. In addition, Oprah Winfrey, who was emcee, fell off the stage.

It took me a minute to figure you were talking about the Padres.
Was that the game where they carried Hoffman off the field to Hells Bells?
Sports are a big means of bonding in my family, and I almost cried when my White Sox won the World Series because my grandma just died and my was son was just born. Both big Sox fans, the boy just doesn't know it yet.
Cubs fans cry all the time, every summer.

My wife got mad at me when I said I'd probably cry if the Mets ever win it all again.
She was all "You didn't even cry when the baby was born or when we got married."
To which I responded "But I knew those things were happening."
There is no bigger high than a dramatic win by your favorite team.

When is Pedro coming back?
Supposedly August 1st, or around that time.
No need to rush him, the starting pitching is the bright spot of the team.

the stanley cups finals were a huge letdown
I think my ex almost cried when the ottawa senators lost because his dad used to own a portion of the team back in the 90s right before he passed away

the SF Giants are making me cry right now. tied game with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th and 1 out and ray durham pops out in the infield and kevin frandsen strikes out. they suck
my sacramento kings were just horrible this year. kevin martin was the only player worth watching. he shouldve wont he 6th man award.
the 49ers are the team im looking forward to. they have so much potential this year. i have a $20 bet they will make the playoffs, a $50 bet that they will finish with a better record than the stl lambs and a another $50 bet saying they will beat the browns. should be an interesting season..

soccer without a doubt gives you the highest highs and lowest lows. my theory is there's no violence on the field so violence in the crowd makes up for it
but yeah, i've stopped following Formula 1 so much since my fav driver switch to ferrari and started doing shite. besides the aussie GP Kimi's had a shit season. but if i was being paid $51 million a year i wouldnt give a fuck either

Back in 95', there was the Cleveland Indians vs. the Cincinnati Reds game in Cincinnati.
My pal Webb rolled the biggest hogleg I've ever seen and then we rode from Cleveland to Cincinnati to see the game in his little red Chevette.
We lit that fucking hog leg up and on the way to the game, one of his cylinders blew so, we drove half the way there on only 3 cylinders. That car still drove with no problem and we were cruising at 80mph.
We saw the game. It was good, I suppose. We were just so damn busy during the game bragging about his little red Chevette while being ripped during the game.

not entirely true. i was on a huge high the other day when i won a motion to suppress (evidence) and saved a guy from the 57 years he was facing in prison. judge probably would have only sentenced him to 15ish. but still.
to save the question, he was charged with armed possession of cocaine (first degree felony, punishable by up to 25 years), possession of firearm by a convicted felon (second degree felony, punishable by up to 15, with a minimum mandatory of 3 years), carrying a concealed firearm and tampering with evidence (both third degree felonies, punishable by up to 5 years) and two first degree misdemeanors (punishable by up to 1 year each).

yeah but imagine how high that guy felt
not to mention how great he must have felt after you won!

it took the judge 4 days before she ruled on the motion. she was looking for any way possible to get out of granting it.
he actually thanked me, which not a lot of clients think to do. i keep checking to make sure he's not in jail again. he'll be arrested within 30 days, because he's just not very bright.
