11 got more love than it deserved, 12 got more hate than it deserved. My opinion, anyway. As I recall, they're both about B- movies, but I like 12 a smidgen more.
Me -- I'd rather dispose with plot altogether and just have these folks riff in some diner somewhere until Tarantino weeps with envy at how unforced real dialogue and camaraderie can be. But, anyway.
If you've seen 13, rate it. I see it in a couple of hours. (y)

I would rather rate people willing to see this movie after how much 12 sucked.
12 was the most dissapointing movie I have ever seen in the theater, until Spiderman 3.

It was okay.
Kind of a mistake to have the whole plot hinge on revenging Reuben, though. He's barely in the first couple of movies, so the characters' emotional investment in this whole thing is waaaaaaayyyyy disproportionate to how any audience is likely to feel.
The first hour is winding the watch; the rest of the movie is springing it. Mixing metaphors, but, okay.
The last few minutes are more satisfying than the endings of the first two movies.
This is easily the safest of the three movies. It's probably going to satisfy a lot of people because of that; it moves like a "regular" movie.
It's fine. Matinee money.
6.5/10.
these movies are just meh popcorn flicks, in which hollywood mega stars act all smug.

I forgot:
Someobody probably liked Arrested Development. The dude who was PaPa's video monitor stand-in has a decent little part in this movie. The guy with the raspy as hell voice.

Not to be a bitch, but out of genuine curiousity: To anyone who paid to see this movie -- why did you go? I look at the movie ads every weekend and I never feel like spending 3-4 hours driving to and watching a movie that's highly unlikely to be good.
I used to see every movie -- at least every well-reviewed indie movie. It's funny, but when I run into old friends, they're still hitting me up for reviews and they don't believe me when I say that I haven't seen anything.

I've seen pretty much all of Soderbergh's movies in the theater. No, the trailer doesn't look very good, but he's one of the directors who gets the benefit of my doubt.
