I've never seen them live, but I was wondering if they were planning on touring some of the bible belt. It seems like they perform for the coasts a lot, but I haven't seen a southern/midwest tour date announced yet. I'd like to see them live, so hopefully they announce some midwest dates.

I have seen them live 12 times, they always come to ATL (where I reside). I am hoping that does not change.

That is nice, but Atlanta isn't exactly the bible belt.

obviously they're gonna tour across the country. they're a major act. they always do. plan on treking to the nearest major city, though.

Atlanta is right in the middle of the bible belt. It's a little more cosmopolitan than most southern cities, but trust me, it's still the South.

yep, they have not been to Norfolk, VA since the Check Your Head tour in 1992....the show sold out early on. Now they only play in Northern VA or D.C. I'm hoping that changes on this tour but I doubt it.

I wouldn't mind them stopping by N.C (y)

I've never seen them live and this tour probably wouldn't be a bad way to start.

Makes sense to me -- so these dates they just announced aren't the only cities you think? I've been coming to terms with the fact that Chi-town has been knocked down, kicked aside and left for dead. Could there be hope yet?!

I know Chi isn't exactly the bible belt but I'm lumping it in with midwest in general... I'm just not used to tour dates being announced bit-by-bit like this, so not sure whether to accept the list or hope for more!! Oh the rollercoaster!!

I think I need a xanax to plan for this tour. :o

hahaha. judging by how the last tour panned out, each date was added nearly one at a time, chicago being right at the end. i would be flabbergasted if they toured and didn't visit chicago, its one of the biggest cities in the country.

there was a small part of me that wondered if they actually weren't gonna tour all over, but just hit up a handful of classic venues instead (i.e. red rocks, the gorge, etc.). i was afraid i'd expect a chicago show, and then by the time i realized there wasn't i couldn't get tickets or plane fare to one of the others. but, there's no way, even if it was a minimalistic tour that they'd skip over chicago.

Don't mean to dis, don't mean to cause static

but being from chicago and all you shouldn't refer to chicago as chi-town. That is just poor manners and makes me want to puke. We've got this great name of a town no need to disrespect it.

And i'm hoping chicago gets blessed with both types of shows.
