I love love Rose Rouge but don't know much else. You have repiked my interest. Thank you

buy it, you will not be unimpressed

Rose Rouge is awesome, I used to spin it quite a bit in my deep house sets.

may I also suggest poking around in some Kruder and Dorfmeister and Thievery Corporation (I'm assuming you already know these artists, but maybe others will see the connection)

Tourist is fucking mint, although I haven't owned it since 2001. Great music for a dead-end bottleshop (read:liquorstore) job. (y)

on a similar vein, is anyone familiar with James Hardway?

I had his first album years ago but someone 'borrowed' it and I never got it back but haven't replaced it or bought anything further. I did love it though.

We had dinner parties of sorts in this bottlo, actually. Smoking cones in the coolroom, anyway.

I remember when the jazzy dNb sound was in, I wonder if it'll make a comeback?

Actually that style reminds me of the wooden look/feel of Dunedin Cafes in 2000. And this swanky pool-hall (it can be done) one of my old girlfriends worked at. Great music to fill a space without over-powering it.

I was refering to a-z's little dinner parties actually, but I'm sure you have them to. serving some strange pan-Tasman cuisine. dingo cooked in the ground or something.

Yeah -- that's some good stuff right there. (y)

I even wound up getting a Bebel Gilberto (sp?) album because of TC.
