Just saw this movie all the way through for the first time last night. Honest, depressing, and, well, honest. good flick though. probly marks the beginning of linklater's obsession with philosophy.
any thoughts on the flick?

Sadly, I don't remember this movie very well at all. Although I think I enjoyed it. I should check it out again without being high (sniff).
Its alright if you have nothing to do and are too lazy to reach for the remote.
The Suburbia from back in 84 was better.

Sucked. One of the few Linklater movies I've never been able to finish. Sucked hard.

...did you never see Slacker?
...also, it was Eric Bogosian's (sp?) script, from a play he wrote. I'm not sure that Linklater touched much of it.

The Burbs? Now, there's a movie somebody should remake. There were some decent ideas in that thing.

its pretty much Bogosian's play adapted for the screen...

didn't see it, but it appears to be a modern rip off of Hitchcocks "Rear Window" without the wheelchair.

haha i love every single quote from that movie
and no way there should be a remake cause it just has to suck compared to the original
dont throw a shadow on the probably best movie ever
