I had dinner with one of the no-name guitarists, then watched the show from the side of the stage.

i'm fucking deaf from the pyro which was just near me. they played for 2 1/2 hours! opened with welcome to the jungle, ended with paradise city.

i was about 2 metres away from axl most of the time. he did his 2 signature dances, the spine wiggle and the hold-the-mikestand-and-jump-in-a-circle routine. when they walked off stage out to the back i walked off with them and the loaders had formed a path of honor and were applauding, and i walked thru it too and pretended i was in the band! hilarious. had a chat with axl, he seemed to be a nice guy, which was surprising. also met sebastian bach from skid row. fuckin hell, is that guy stuck in the 80s or what!!?? i spent the rest of the time before the show walking thru the crowd showing off my shiny large all access laminate.

I also got a pass to the private afterparty, but i have to goto work :( :( :(

now i have to start work in........ 2 1/2 hours. this is gunna hurt.
