Gala events?

Anybody have any more info on the Gala Events in the US? I have seen the boys in just about every type of venue and can't wait for the Gala shows.

Pooty I'm diggin the new avatar niicee but i'm confused on all this talk about the gala events no one knows for sure whether or not its happening I'm guessing but i'd love to go can anyone guesstimate on what ticket prices would cost

They have had at least one Gala event (other than at the Sasquatch fest) but I was wondering if anyone knows how much the tickets were for one of the gala's and aprox how many people the venue holds. I know its smaller venues, just trying to get an idea.

As described before these will be in smaller spots, more exclusive, more intimate. this will be more like quality time, our time, just you and the band sitting by a fire on a tropical beach late at night being serenaded with love songs. these shows are for people that are into our weird stuff. Some songs will have vocals, others will be instrumental. Already here in Europe, people have called us liars for playing songs with vocals during our so called "instrumental" shows, so be it. We lie and are proud of it. Anyways, if you'd like to come to one of these shows, then dress to impress, wear a suit, a tie, a dress, your granma's broach or whatever you feel good in... BUT PLEASE leave your cargo shorts, birkenstocks and t-shirts at home, this is not that kind of party.

The Hammerstein Ballroom is gorgeous & old school. I saw The Mambo King himself Tito Puente play there in the last year of his life.

I know, who cares, but it falls under the heading of GET PSYCHED FOR THE NYC GALA EVENT IN AN AWESOME VENUE!!!

I'm flying in for the occasion.
