I say unofficial because my driver's license and license plate still have a year or so left on them before I'll have to switch them over... But sometime mid-August I'll be a resident of Los Angeles. I got the call from the leasing office from the place I was looking at today to tell me that they officially ran my application and that everything looks good... they're giving me the apartment.
Whoa. Life changes, huh? Now I just gotta officially find a job out there, which I'm hoping will come along okay... so maybe I should start looking for that sometime soon, eh?
Echewta, cosmo, Boomin'... y'all wanna hang out sometime?

are you going to enroll in school out there, and claim that CA is not your permanent residence? if not, you likely need to get a new DL and register your car. at least, that's the way it goes in FL. otherwise, you get a couple of misdemeanor charges.
just check into it for me, k?
and if you're merely moving just to be going to a new place to start your career, what made you choose LA?

She's right. I didn't get a ticket or anything, but when I first got pulled over in Cali I still had Indiana plates and license and the cop told me I had to get them switched but he was letting me go with a warning, etc.
