its all too much - the beatles?
or was that a volume pedal?
Cemetary Gates - Pantera
Actually there are dozens of Pantera songs that would work here....thats just the first one that came to mind.

Every song that Kerry King gets his hands on. With the combination of his whammy bar and his wawahh pedal he's a force to be recongined with
My Favorite is Alter of Sacrafice~Strings Break on that One...I'm sure
The Whammy Bar is his Weapon of Choice and he uses it effectively
The last solo on Exodus ~Within the Walls of Chaos is the best example of don't get between a metal maverick and his ax.
How do you make a guitar scream and weep like a broken school girl? Let a Thrash artist have a shot at it: If it's not turned to kindling wood then you have a winner

yeah you could pretty much name every pantera song w/ a solo.
i got whammy bar and wah-wah pedal mixed up - i had a fuckload of metallica songs typed out before it clicked.

Isley Brothers - Who's That Lady?
Not sure if they used a whammy bar but I love the waily-ness of that guitar riff.

the pic was a piss-take, yeah.
ps. BangkokB, cheers for the cds, leave it there. the cd's probably cost you a dollar or two? cd's over here are a shite-side more expensive. if i sent you the exact same cds you sent me, i'd be sending 100-200 dollars worth of shit... i ain't wasting that money on someone i don't even know.
you're getting emotional over someone half your fuckin age in a country that doesn't mean shit to you. all i chatted to you about was what music appreciated. i never asked to be your bum-buddy.
so fuck off

whoa
what the fuck is this shit about
someone wasn't kind enough to give a reach around?
whoa
what the fuck is this shit about
bangkokb started pm'ing me ages ago, just talking about metal and shit, i replied, he replied, so and so. then one day he says he's gonna send me some of his favourite metal albums (not his personal cds - bought ones). i was all "umm yeah alright" then he suggested i send him some to "balance it all out". i never said i would but i never said i wouldn't so that's what he's sour about. i got the cds in a package with 2 pages of hand-written reviews of each cd which i personally found a bit strange. i am thankful for the cds but i never asked for any of this shit. he did it for his own... "pleasure"?
going back to my previous post, i ain't wasting 100-200 bucks on him. each cd i received had 1.98/2.98/1.99 tags on them. cds over here have $20.99+ on them. fuck that, nothing against the guy but what the fuck... i never asked for this shit.

Haha I know, I just wanted to try and use it against both of you. Besides, it's pretty gay giving some smelly possibly-diseased loser on the internet your address. :)

Tzar,
Those were all unopened CD's and they cost on average over $10USD here so where ever you got you information from that CD were peanuts here was misguided. Why don't you convert Baht to AUD smart guy- 400 Baht a disc. It totaled about $100 USD after all was said and done.
The deal was originally disc for disc bc I can't get alot of music I want here. You said cool no problem bf I sent them out. Then once you received them you spin the "I'm a broke college student bullshit" I said fair enough: If you can send me Amon Tobin's "Permutations" then it's cool and return the favor to someone else years down the road when they're where you're at. Even that was asking too much: Face it you're a thief. The $ doesn't bother me~I piss that chump change from work to home. It's the lack of integrity on your behalf. But you're the one that has to look at yourself when you shave every morning
On a side note: I've turned this into a social experiment of sorts and so far you're the only one to cheat me out of $. The Beastie Boys board is batting 1/2. Every other board has pulled through though and I was throwing caution to the wind on most of them. I hope you're getting your MBA bc you're tailor made for it(n)

As far as the whammy bar goes Kerry King is the master of the Whammy Bar~
Bar None. He abuses it so much that people criticize him for depending on the the whammy and wah wah for solo's exclusively. I call that being a 6 string terrorist
But I'm glad the air was cleared. I said my piece and stick by it. I have the same enthusiasm when I put $.50 in a Coke machine and don't get my drink. I kick it and treat it like a red headed stepchild. I'm crazy enough to spend $1,000 to find out where my $100 went. Principles are a bitch. I hope you're not cursed with them.

can't you just download the fucking music and stop whining about it?
BangkokB
06-29-2007, 09:20 PM
I only download music that I'd never buy~ 1 hit wonders and the lot.
If it's a band I like then I want the CD for the liner notes and all. I'm not whining: I collect music, it's my hobbie.
There's a lot of good music out there that for logistical reasons I can't get my hands on.
What You're Saying Equated To:
You pull into a gas station pay for 50 Gallons of Gas and get nothing. Would you were to raise hell about it if so then you're whining about it? Would that rub you the wrong way? Forcing you to speak out about it or would you go about your biz to never bring it up again? I understand some "men" swallow it and go about their day. Others question it and see that it never happens again. I tend to be on that stream of things
If so you're such apathetic follower that never questions anything then by all means take 10 steps back and rethink you're life bc you're getting walked on

yeah because that's totally the same thing. i completely understand. making a "handshake" agreement with some shithead from the net is absolutely the same type of thing as purchasing gas from a totally legit reputable gas station.
and oh yeah... if people could download gas, the gas labels and gas artists would soooooo pissed.
