Yeah I just got the e-mail but following the link doesn't yeild anything about the tickets just opens up itunes. I already bought the album once today and don't really want to have to buy it again but if its the only way to get a crack at the tickets it would be worth the 10 bucks but nothing looks any different at this point.

OK, I'm still confused about whether pre-sale is better than itunes code. Do I:

(a) use the pre-sale code from the newsletter to buy NYC gala tix this Friday 6/29?

or

(b) re-purchase the album on itunes and then wait until july 5th for the itunes code and attempt to get what will then be a sold-out show?

it just seems like (a) is the better option, no? are pre-sale seats good? can the itunes code be used to upgrade existing tix? (doubt it, just askin)

The ticketmaster website says that at 10 AM today, June 25, there is an internet presale for the 8/24 show at the Warfield in San Francisco. Is there a code necessary for the internet presale? If so, how do I get it? Clearly the i-tunes password that will be sent out on July 5 will not help out for a presale that starts at 10 AM today. Please advise...........

So far for all of the presales the code has been MIXUP accross the board as far as I've seen from the news letters. I'd say that using that password is probably what you're supposed to use for this pre-sale the itunes thing is billed as a "post-sale". Good luck with the San Fran pre-sale because tickets haven't been easy to come by in either of the Boston pre-sales.

WoW! I sure am glad I signed up for a stupid iTunes account and downloaded the new disc! NOT
membership has it's privileges -- stupid me created two accounts and downloaded twice so I could get a 3rd ticket for my son (Philly venue postsale has 2 ticket max). I should of picked up the CD and ripped it myself! what a waste,,,,,,,,,
