the first loop rollercoaster I ever went on, I forgot to keep my head back so I walked around with a crick in my neck/head leaning to the right because the pain for two days straight after.
after that I was good. In fact, I LOVE rollercoasters. Throw in as many loops, sudden drops, and cork screws as possible please.
i ain't afraid a no rolly coaster!

The best rollercoaster in the world is Nemesis at Alton Towers. It doesn't look anything special and is really quite short, but by gum; it is a proper corker.
The only ride I have ever actually been scared on was at the top of Stratosphere in Las Vegas. I was fucking petrified.

i rode a sissy ass roller coaster once (no loopings)
afterwards i could barely walk anymore, i was shacking and got knees like jelly
and it feels weird when it goes up and down till your stomach hangs itself, i tried not to yell but it was impossible
guess i wouldnt get addicted to it even when it sounds like pure sex

It doesn't have any loops but a rollercoaster caled Thunder Road takes you backwards after you ride it forward. It does have a few good drops though.

yep at Knott's, my brother went on supreme screme, its a tall tower that lifts u all the way to the top then drops really fast he said he started lifting out of his seat a little bit.
man there was a 2 hour wait for ghostrider, and the drop is so damn tall, i was taking sooo long to get all the way up then we dropped and it felt like i was falling for 5 staright minutes, it was total hell! my mouth was dry from screaming and all the air hitting my face...

the original Cyclone at AstroLand in Coney Island is a real neck breaker...
and then there was The Texas Cyclone at AstroWorld in H-Town, until the whole park got razed for a business district... that was a classic park- Greased Lightning, XLR8, The Skyscreamer...
I heard Kingda-Ka at Great Adventure in NJ is the tallest and fastest there is, but it was closed the day I went...
I relived the old childhood at Disney World on Valentine's Day and rode Space, Thiunder, and Splash Mountain...(y)

Imagine that...something that has to do with superman and not being able to walk. Coincidence? I think not.
Fuck that I not trust amusement park rides. I do not trust the maintenance used to back in the day but not now.

Agreed! (y)
I love rollercoasters and i could waffle on all day about them.
The best woody I have been on (pft..that sounds so dirty) is the Grand National at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It was built around 1935 and it creaks like hell as you go up the to the first drop. It's an incredibly rough ride though - you are held in by a single bar and i once popped the button off my jeans trying to stay in my seat.
Nemesis at Alton Towers is really good but i think Air is right up there. It's calming - quite the opposite of what a rollercoaster is supposed to do, but it works. EDIT: I forgot about Rita - Queen of Speed at Alton Towers. Jesus, i almost lost my lunch on that one.
I have been on two rollercoasters that have broken down in scary positions. The Vampire Bat at Chessington where were left dangling for a good hour and a wooden coaster at Darien Lake, NY (i forget it's name) where we had to climb off and walk along the track unaided about a zillion feet off the ground.
I sound like a coaster geek. :/
