why? because i recently applied for a job that i was more than qualified for (animal carer) and my application was not even taken seriously. the main reason that i can think of is because i'm TOO OLD. yeah at the ripe old age of 21, i'm TOO OLD to work in a shitty minimum wage job. and now since i have been driven INSANE, i think that i can probably go on the disability pension now.

Don't take it personally. I do believe that they hire baboons to read applications and resumes.

I applied for college security once and got turned down because "they've found more qualified people than me".

Think about it. 8 years army infantry and 4 years of it I was an E-5, I wore the 101 airborne patch on my shoulder for 2 years. I also picked up a 2nd m.o.s as a weapons repairer.

After that, I worked as a correctional officer for 2 years at Angola, Louisiana and Phelps in Dequincy and also the ALC. Some of hardest places to work at in a prison as a correctional officer cause most of the inmates are black and the staff is mostly racist whites (excluding me)

Then I worked as a force protection officer in Kuwait which included searching vehicles for bombs, escorting people to Iraq...

But yet, I'm not qualified enough to carry a flashlight and tell people to quiet down on the campus?
