I just watched that movie. I got a VHS tape of it at the thrift store. I'd only seen snippets before. it has a preview for The War of the Roses and Say Anything on it. ALSO, it has a very early clip of the Simpsons where they look all wonky and Homer is super mean! ha!

anyway, I liked it a lot and it made me feel empowered as a woman and all that. but then I realized that it was just a movie and things are a lot more complicated these days than they were in 1988. :/

I think it's that fruity song at the beginning that sticks in your head afterwards that gives you that sense of empowerment. Not as a dude, but like, if you're a chick and stuff. For guys, Eye Of The Tiger is much more effective. But yes, good movie. Very inspiring. For chicks I mean.

I like the part where she's vacuuming and has her hooters hanging out.
