In case he changes it, it's currently nine quotes taking up about 95% of the height of my 20" screen.

i looked into it and couldn't think of a better way of doing it than leaving it like it is now. it's currently set to 500 characters including BBCode. by decreasing that amount a lot of people that are using a lot of different COLOR or SIZE tags will get affected. the real problem is that the QUOTE tag obviously generates more space than an innocent COLOR tag.

either way, i'll edit his signature and advise him to keep them down in the future.
