First off, lame concept. It's like...like...he's got TWO whole different sides to his personality. And they FIGHT one another! And...and...it's not like Redman, Scarface and whoever haven't already done anything like that before, so GOOD ONE, T.I.
Anyway, this album is just as underwhelming as all his other ones. He's alright, but I seriously don't get the hype. Seriously. And him saying that because King was the only rap album to go platinum in 2006, it made it the best album of the year shows what a clown he is.

Yeah, I assumed "underwhelming" would be the word. His albums always have 2 or so quite good songs but the rest is garbage. And I don't see how he can pull off having two different personalities for an entire album when he barely has one.

He's not my thing but it doesn't sound like the new album is to good because even his fans are calling this one lackluster.

he's full of himself everybody seems to be these days, i remember a few months back he was being interviewed bout this album and he was just sayin how unique the idea was and how great its gonna be.
btw tip was his original name but he changed it to T.I cuz i guess he thought he was offending q-tip

He had to change his name because of being on the same label as Q-Tip I believe is why.

"Sooner or later I'll take you up on your offer
and put you in your place like I'm re-placin your father
You talkin to the author
The architect of the Blueprint
My DNA in your music
Muhfucka, you stupid"
It's a like a huge break from the monotony once Jigga drops by and kinda spits the best verse on the album. And it's not even a crazy verse for Jay or anything. The song he's on is nothing special, either. Em and Busta contribute (lackluster) features on the album as well.
The whole "split personality" nonsense is still, by far, the fruitiest thing about the whole album. I think Cassidy and Fabolous were the last rappers to attempt this gimmick, and their shit came out wack ass, too. But dude wants us to believe he has these two dynamically opposing personalities fighting over his brain or whatever. Anyway, what T.I. is referring to is what normal people call a "mood".
STFU, T.I.

He sounded like ass on the BET awards last night. Didn't seem to know what his act was about or where he should be. Ditto 50 cent.

I like TI's singles.
What You Know is good. My Love's guest spot is good. I think his verse on We Takin Over is the best.
He's alright.

I agree with most of this.
T.I. isn't in the same league as Lil Wayne. T.I.'s at about the Slim Thug/Paul Wall/Posdonous level. Weezy's up there with heavyweights like Pusha or Bun B.

Yeah. I'm just controversial by nature.
T.I.'s verses are all like:
Yuknuhwhuhumsayinbruh/ Idynahwuhyuhhatinfuh/ I'maseeyuhlayahbruh/ Buhheyehmanuhmuhehyeyyuh
And he's got the same ad libs goin through every verse: "What?....What?....What?.....What?......What?"

I laughed pretty hard at this.
on a side note, I'm enjoying this record and will probably still buy it when it drops. it's exactly what I expected- a fun summer record.
but fuck, what the fuck happened to Eminem? the track with him is awful.

haven't heard this yet, i don't mind t.i . arguing about who's better out of him and weezy doesn't really seem worth the effort in my mind though.
