Have I broken the code? Is this the BBoys genius?
Aftering reading this:

Pitchfork: http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/articl...830-the-mix-up

"Beastie Boys lore is that they warm up for each record by improvising like-so, but the 12 songs here don't suggest that the results of those exercises are worth more than raw sampling material....

June 2008 do we get the hip hop album that this is the "raw sampling material" for?

A) Mike D's joked about people adding lyrics, etc.
2) It;s called the Mix Up
C ) I also figured there must be a code re: The Fibonacci Sequence in the DaVinci Code

I had wondered if they would be planning on sampling themselves from jam sessions like with Check Your Head etc. I hope so, cos that process as far as I'm concerned produced pure gold. They have also been quoted as growing tired of the complications of sampling other artists & having to get clearance etc.

I was actually thinking about this kind of, but the conclusion I came to is that they decided to just play instruments on this album and I would rather they make an entirely new album than edit this one.
