Beastie Boys v. Average White Band

Hello all,

This is my first attempt at a remix. I intend to add more stuff to it, but you get the general idea...

This one came to me whilst I was in the car listening to Pick Up The Pieces (the sampled song by Average White Band)....I could hear the Beastie Boys rapping along...

Let me know what you think.....always cheers me up anyway...

I was hooked from the intro...loved it. I would have liked to hear more beasties, though. Is somebody an Adrock fan?

I am an Adrock fan, yeah, but I found that his rapping uses the most regular kind of rhythms, and his timing is a bit more on the money.

Yauch and Mike D's rapping is a bit more off the wall so I had to do a bit of time stretching and cutting up for them!!

Thanks for your comments.... need to look for some more good acapella stuff - much as I love the Beasties, can't just do remixes of their stuff.

Anybody got any ideas? Websites for good (ie well known) freely available acapellas?

I do,,,unfortunatly, i erased my history, and i dont know the url...just google "acapellas", and you should be fine.
