she's a bit of a dum-dum though chum. ever seen her receive a reward? or partake in an interview? must've been diplo that came up with the pseudo-political schtick.

Some people aren't as gifted to always sound intelligent when they want to. I can't imagine that with her very politically charged history that she would need insight from a white boy from Philly about what persecution is. No offense to Diplo either by that, just being realistic.

How many cds does M.I.A. have? I have Galang, but I saw one in the bargain bin the other day that looked older than Galang. I didn't really have time to investigate.
I was really bummed that she didn't make it to Sasquatch. It would have been dope.

Arular is her major label debut. Galang was just that album's first single.
There's and album before Arular called Piracy Funds Terrorism or something like that.

Piracy Funds Terrorism is good times. I need to stop saying "good times." But no, really, it is. I've been playing a lot of Diplo's mix for Lady Killer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biGVBqkX2Tw)

It's quite perplexing, but fun to listen to nonetheless. 20 Dollar I quite like, and Paper Planes is end of a film music. Yeah, it's not bad eh?

going to go see her perform in october in nyc! her new album is a little too girly for me but she gets mad props from me. love how she's all about the cause but makes it sound so pop without being pop...

jimmy is a remake of a popular indian song and has additional significance which escapes me right now, but anyways i think she's hot.
