I'm taking my twin boys to the show for their 11th BDay. They love the Beastie Boys' music as much as I do...

I got tickets in the upper balcony. Has anyone been to the Warfield? Is the balcony really far away from the stage? Is it stadium style seating up there? They aren't the tallest kids in the world.

The balcony is away from the stage, but it's such a small venue, it's not like you're a mile away. The balcony is slanted, so there shouldn't be too much of a problem with visuals, but if the people in front are standing and are really tall, then there could be a problem. The couple of times I was stuck with balcony seats at the Warfield, most people were sitting down the entire show.

i've been to a few shows where nobody in the balcony sat down the whole show. just have your boys stand on their seats and they'll be as tall as the next guy :cool:
