i get this ominous looking letter from the IRS. I already did all my taxes, got my refunds. an audit? what?! so i waited quite a while to actually open it.

the first page says, "tear this out and send with your payment". i flip the page, its a letter saying i overpaid in 2005 and am getting $210 back! 2005?!?!

my dad was telling me about how he and an associated took out a loan a few years back (like 04 i think) and something happened with it where now the IRS is telling him that he has to pay the taxes back on it becuase something was marked wrong back then. but it wasnt when they filed, and they cant go back and fix the problem.
