Im going to ask her if Mariah Carey was anywhere in the song when it was recorded. Mariah used to sing backup vocals for Brenda and it would be interesting to find out if they all were involved in this song.

Of course it's Adam. It's always sounded like him to me but then again I've heard this song for over 20 years now! I own the single.... I just wish there was an extended version or dance mix with more of him, but I love the song anyway. I always enjoyed his old 80's solo raps. I saw an interview in the late 90's on MTV where Vanilla Ice was putting himself in the same category as Run DMC and the Beastie Boys saying that he helped Hip Hop the same way they did. I am surprised he didn't get struck by lightning when he said that.

Vanilla Ice shouldn't even be permitted to speak about those groups or even utter their names.

I love the Biz but I'm a little worried that he's stooped so low as to associate with that guy.
