On the phone while my other coworker and I just sat there and listened with our jaws wide open and eyes buldged out.
My supervisor just decides to switch his hours and not even telling him. Instead, he had me relay the message. After I told him, he got real pissed and called my supervisor. He was dropping the f bomb like crazy and yelling at him.
I really don't blame him for being angry. Something such as changing someone's hours should be done with proper notice and a face to face basis.
My supervisor also tried to do that with me once. I came to work one day, looked at the new schedule and I happened to be on 12 hour shifts on sat and sun. He didn't tell me shit and I had my daughter for that weekend. Well, I didn't yell at him but, I let him know that I will only work my 40 hours from mon to fri and that I do have a life outside of work.

I don't know why but that quote caught me off guard, had me cracklin'. I'm also spreading the word that the Foremans drink Perrier.
Anyhow, my "visor" is the kind of person who thinks this job is pure gold or your life support and that it's the best job in the world. He thinks we've got no life outside of this job.
When he needs you to work on your off day, it's always, "I need you to work this day", rather than, "Are you free or have any plans, can you come in to work?"
Another thing that I don't like about him is kinda personal on my level, the fact that he's a former Marine who during his whole time in he fucked off, hated it, got a few article 15s (disciplinary actions) and now that he's out, he's all "SEMPER FI, I'm still a Marine" and all hardcore acting like he was some war hero or something.

...ahhh... I think I remember you typing about this guy.
And, yeah -- the "I need you to work this day" is usually a sign of few people skills, no life/imagination outside work, or both.
