Here is track 13 from TMU that I now added to "The Re-Mix Up"..Its Buscuits and Butter Vs. The Grasshopper Unit...The song clocked in at 108 bpm and NONE of the acapellas went with it that I actually liked....So I finally settled on TGU which is 101 bpm....Anyway..Check it out...I'll add this to the official "Re-Mix Up" thread too...

Will put the link as soon as it's up on BeastieMixes....Check back...

Awesome....Thanks, man.:)

OMG...I just noticed this...Listen to the track all the way to the end or just skip right to the very end...You hear Adrock say "Alright, let me do my vocal" and then you hear Mike D say "Alright now give me 16 bars and we spit on a verse".....What the hell are they talking about?

Very Noice! For now the re-mix-up is complete (until we get the full versions of the Japanese bouns tracks.)

My next request/challenge would be wht I'm calling the Pre-Mix-Up Version 2.0: The Vocal Edition. The Beastie Boys have said they are going to release another verison of the mix-up with vocal from some 'newer' singers. So, my challege would be a perview of what TMU might sound like with vocal from some Beastie Boys Cohort laid on top. Here are my ideas of some artist they might use:
Beck
Le Tiga
Bad Brains (reggae style)
Jill Cunliff (former lead singer of Luscious Jackson, who has a new solo album out now)
Sean Lennon
The chick from the Cardnigans
Ben Lee
Mos Def (singing, sans 'Umi Says') and Talib, for a Blackstar reuion
Sherily Manson from Garbage
Cee-Lo (Gnarls Barkley style)
Kelis
Sleepy Brown with Big Boi
Andre 3000 on his own track singing style
Q-Tip and Phife
Jack White
Biz Markie
Thom York (radiohead)
Anothny Ketis (RHCP)
Neko Case
Cibo Matto
Bis
Bran Van 3000
Buffalo Daughter
Mars Volta
and some more female vocalists that would fit the concept

Thanks, man....Now while all that sounds so very tempting...I think I'm done with TMU for now as far making remixes with it(unless like you said, we get the full tracks from the Japanese version)...I wouldn't know how to make the backrounds any different than how I have them on "The Re-Mix Up"...I'm really not as creative as let's say, Chomium5, DeeJayZap, or PWN. They're the real deal. It would basically wind up just being the same backrounds from "The Re-Mix Up" with vocals from the groups you specified....That would be recycling, and I hate recycling. Escpecially soda cans and newspapers....But I think that some of those artists will sound really good with TMU....

Cool! Thanx Cos.
So now I throw this challege out to any other remixes. A Bjork track would be noice as well.

Thanks, man......It definitely is a good B-Side....But, why didn't they just release it on the cd? I'm curious as to how the other ones sound on the japanese version too.....Damn Japan, they always get the extra tracks....Waaaa

You're selling yourself short, sir. You make the tracks that make us grab our d***** and say Oh My God Thats The Funky S***. Really, no sarcasm, if you don't believe me just check the NUMBERS!!!. I like the bonus track, and if the JP edition is not CC I will send it over.
