and I'm sittin on my rooftop playin my guitar, with headphones on and not my amp cause I have respect for people who's not an insomniac like I am and they enjoy their silence while they sleep and I see some flashy lights outside of my apartment.
I drop my guitar and investigate to find the cops have pulled some guy over.
I suppose they've been tailin this guy for a while cause as soon as they got him out of the car, they gave him a breathalyser right off the bat rather than a roadside test.
The guy apparently didn't speak english well and apparently has never had a breathalyser test and the cops are yelling, "Don't be playing jokes, don't be playing games" when the guy was blowing into it. All that aside, it's 3a.m. and they're standing within 2 feet from each other and I'm sure the guy can hear them if the tone was lower.
Anyway, the guy must have blown over the limit cause they cuffed him right after that, which is good. I'm glad they got a nuisance off the road, but the whole being a nuisance while doing it?
So then, the tow truck comes, picks up the car, goes in reverse with the whole beeping, I look across the street and see lights starting to turn on in the apartments.
The cops are talking loud as hell to each other, "Hey, is this your red bag?" and then after it's all said and done, they high five each other, "Hell yeah, we got him".
I dunno if it's an act of intimidation as them being loud like that on purpose so this neighborhood can head their warning to drunk drivers but, not everyone around here are some dipshits as such. I'm saying, even though it's good to see they've done their job and busted this guy, that they have done it in a fairly non professional manner.
