Beastie Backup Dancers

Hey, Wouldn't it be great if the guys had a few backup dancers to keep the kids movin'? Not that the BB need any help keeping the crowd into the show, but sometimes the male population needs a little female mojo to stay focused. (Nothing cheesy, of course. No Licence To Ill Tour circa 1987 inflatables or anything! Maybe track suits or hoodies and shorts) Guess what? I am officially making myself available for the job. I have an extensive resumé when it comes to dancing to the beasties (mostly in clubs and my bedroom mirror). Where are the open minds?? Sheez. I din't expect so much negativity to such a fun proposition. If you all could see me dance, you'd change your minds. But mostly I was goofin--so relax. The world is safe in its predictability.

One thing I love about the Beastie Boys is that they are their own dancers/hype men. They don't need back-up dancers and they don't need someone else on stage helping them out unless they're actually a part of the music.

absolutely! I can dance in heels. No problem. And in my humble opinion, dancing is a part of the music making experience. Have you seen Prince lately?
