The Brouhaha with some old school Police. Hope you enjoy.

Hmmm... Well, I LOVE that song, The Police rule! I'm just not sure about the timing though. It seems like the lyric really doesn't fit the rhythm of the song. Still a killer jam to work with though!

The thing that I enjoy most about the 3 mixes that I have heard is that you throw in stuff that I recognize immediately. I didn't really notice any timing issues like 7x5 mentioned, but I was more focused on the effects you ran on Yauch's vocals (which I liked a lot).

Just judging by the tracks you mix with and some of the samples I think we share some similar tastes, and I never got good with mixing so here are some things I think would sound cool in a beasties mix (not asking for you to spend a lot of time making a special mix, just wanted to give you some food for thought).(y)(y)

Pixies/Frank Black/Breeders/Kim Deal
Sonic Youth
Ramones
Love And Rockets/Daniel Ash/David J
Violent Femmes
Beck
Flaming Lips
Cramps/Doo-Rag/Chickisaw Mudd Puppies/Skid Roper & Mojo Nixon (or any other hillbilly alternative shit).

Yeah, I dig a lot of those groups you listed. I tried to mess with Add It Up this weekend, as suggested on BeastieMixes site, but damn - the combination of the analog tape lag of the original recording, and the fact that those guys rushed the tempo (shocking I know), made it more of a hassle than it was worth.
