Domestic dispute.

So - the other day my eye got kind of bloodshot and itchy. It lasted all day. I worried a bit, and there on the counter in our bathroom, in the same place it's been for weeks, is a jar half full of 7 antibiotic pills that my roomie's girlfriend left there. I take one.

The next day my eye gets worse and it spreads to the other, and it's pretty obvious I have pinkeye (gross, I know). So I over the next two days I take the rest of the pills and put the empty jar in the medicine cabinet.

Today I'm mostly better - and I get a txt from my roomie (whom I never see because of our differing schedules) saying "Hey way to take medicine that clearly doesn't belong to you. All you had to do was man up and ask."

He's right - it wasn't my medicine. It was on that counter for a long time and I didn't think he'd care/notice.

How much am I in the wrong?

I apologized for taking them, that's really all that's happened so far. He's off somewhere for now. I hope I never hear about it again. I can't wait to move out of here.

I think it's wrong for the mere fact that it's a total hassle to get a new prescription if there's no refills on it. The poor bastard is probably going to have to pay to go to the doctor again to get more medicine. Bah.

Just kidding. If it's old. Oh well.

This will teach the person to finish their prescription the next time.

The world is full of weird strains of illness due to the fuckers who don't finish their prescriptions, then grow immunity to the illness. This should be your response...
