View Full Version : are you a die-hard bbmb'er
where you would do anything to meet up with the bbmb'ers at an event if given the chance?
OR
would you rather hang with your own clan and be a wallflower by not meeting up with the others?

i didn't vote, because its kind of an odd topic with me and i cant give a straight answer.
theoretically, i think meeting others would be cool. getting to actually meet the person. on the other hand, im pretty socially retarded and meeting people in general is pretty stressful to me, and meeting someone in real life that i know over the internet would be moreso. it seems like it SHOULD be less so, because you kind of already "know" the person, but on the other hand, theres more pressure to not embaras yourself and whatnot. like, i really dont like my voice and my accent, and i could never talk to any of you on the phone just because, well, id rather you imagine my voice to be like, i dont know, whatever you imagine it to be, or not not have an idea at all. stuff like that. i dont know. im awkward. and i woudlnt want any of you to witness my real life awkwardness.
also, ive posted stuff on this board i woudlnt tell people in real life, so theres that aspect too. hell, there are people that i used to know in real life that i feel ive revealed too much while talking to them online and now i dont want to see them in person again.
but other than that, yeah, theres some of you that i would really like to meet/hang out with in real life.

Well i wouldn't walk past 'em and then text message them later being like "are you wearing a black sweatshirt" like SOME PEOPLE!!
;)
Eh, it depends. If it wasn't a whole lotta hassle/the people there were cool, of course I would

I found hitmonlee quite intimidating. Not because she was, but because it was like seeing a celebrity. As such, I could barely approach her, so I put my hood up like I was going to rob her and said whassup as I walked past. Tzar, not so much. :D

I only said yeah because of a few people, but if you asked three years ago, it would've been a definite FUCK YEAH. Now I would only go out of my way to see you if you were two people in front of me in line at Arby's.

I could probably meet jabumbo because we live in the same city, but...no.
I wouldn't do "anything" to meet anyone.
But if there was some sort of event nearby, I'd meet up with whoever. And then let my social retardation dazzle everyone.

I've met and haven't met. Depended on opportunity, circumstance, and time of day, actually.
Would I travel to do it? Like, actually travel, not just take public transportation or whatever. I doubt it. Nothing personal, but I don't think I see most of you folks as real people, in a way, and that's totally on me. And probably why I'm ruder here than I am to 94% of people in real life. Most of you sort of merge into this one Board Person with various personalities posting from time to time, as if the Board just absorbs everyone, and it just seems like you all are from here and you're pretty much gone when I shut off the computer, and keep me company when it's on. Very weird, unreal, but, yeah. It's hard to discern among you sometimes, and I think I just let me grammar slop over there, but hopefully that makes sense.

you're just afraid because you know i would knock your ass out for being a whiney little bitch
i've got no problems with meeting up with people though. if i know i'll be in the area of someone i'd at least present the idea if i know i'll have some free time.

Because we all know Pete is so important that he can't simply make time to say hi. YOU have to make time for HIM.

I don't think there are many people that I'd specifically avoid.
If it were a concert or something, sure. Or, like, if they lived down the street.

I'm not a people person. But If I'd spot a BBMB'er I'd say hi. I think.
So far I've met 2 of them. One of them gave me a mixtape, the other one... gave me a whole lot more. :o
