Satellite Radio, XM or Sirius? Is it just goofy? Should I buy it or will it be too limiting? I see they sell portable units with adapter kits for home and car. Anybody here have a recommendation?
Anybody have it?
Never really thought about it, seems like a cool idea and I drive like crazy.
Shit ain't free, it costs $49-$199 for a car/home kit then $12.95 a month.
Give me your thoughts of what I should do.

Archbishop of New York Calls Merger a Unique Opportunity to Extend the Reach and Breadth of Religious Programming in America
WASHINGTON, July 20, 2007 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- XM Satellite Radio (XMSR) and SIRIUS Satellite Radio (SIRI) today announce the support of His Eminence Edward Cardinal Egan, the Archbishop of New York, for their pending merger.
"We are extremely pleased to receive support from such a highly regarded and influential spiritual leader," said Gary Parsons, Chairman of XM, and Mel Karmazin, CEO of SIRIUS, in a joint statement.
In his opinion piece, published today in the New York Post, Cardinal Egan said, "The Catholic Channel and SIRIUS Satellite Radio present a unique opportunity for the Church to speak with people - Catholic and non-Catholic alike. I would urge all those who are considering the merger between SIRIUS and XM to see to it that this dialogue of faith can continue."

It's not really worth it considering how much the fees that build up over time.
I really only listen to about two channels on XM anyway (n)

I have Sirius and absolutely love it.
I got because I'm a Howard Stern fan, but really ended up enjoying the commercial-free music stations and everything else it offers.
There's always something good on. Sports, talk, comedy, politics, music. They also have a cool feature so you can pause or rewind live radio.
