What's best about it is that it tacitly APPROVES of immigration, because he's saying these have to be filled by SOMEONE, and since all our poor people are dead...

God damn, those people are so fucking stupid.

The sad thing is this is what happens with alot of young people, telling themselves over and over that it is something wrong, silly, or juvenile can actually brainwash them. It can really screw somebody up, and keep them from having a full life.

I believe in the cause! Just not enough to fight and die for my country, see. As long as it's not me in danger, I support it! And if anyone comes home and complains and says it was a mistake being there, well, they're unpatriotic! I love this country more than anyone, which is why I stay safely on this side of the ocean.

Not too many of them, as it turns out.

Exactly. Majority of the time, rich Republicans wouldn't want themselves or a family member to go to war because they have actual opportunities in life that shouldn't be squandered. For those less fortunate who take that path, well, they're fighting and dying for their SUV's oil, so how can they be against that?

I'm fine with people not wanting to go to war for this cause. I don't want to go fight for this cause. It's because I don't believe in it. I hate hearing people saying they absolutely believe in the cause and are patriotic, but they'd never ever go over there themselves. Our forefathers believed in our country so much they were willing to spill their own blood for their freedom, and their society's freedom. They didn't just say they supported the Revolutionary War and stay at home, they went out and fought. If these "patriotic" Republicans believe that they're "defending America" over there, it seems to me that they don't love our country enough to help defend it, they've got "better things" to do.
