As said, it's just freestyle. Had just a little bit of freetime on my hands so I made this little diddle.
It's nothing spectacular and was recorded on my portable mp3 player.

Wow, this makes me think of Metal Slug 3.
Thanks for the vision dude.
Metal Slug 3? I've played part 1. I'll have to check 3 out.
I wish I had a better recorder cause it's kinda choppy in some parts. I notice I've missed some tempo too. I really need a drum machine for practice. It's all good, the full band recordings start Saturday.

So far and it's pretty damn solid. We've got a drummer (originator of the band), bassist, singer, rhythm guitarist and lead guitar (me).
Did you let it ring out? It's about 7 mins of riffs.
I'll give myself some self criticism though, the second acoustic thing sounded real choppy. I need to adjust the freqs on that phase.
But yeah, expect something like that with a full arsenal of instruments backing it up(y)

In due time. We've got our outfits picked out for gigs too.
I'm upset cmute. I don't see any replies.
It's a crappy recording anyway. It does sound better after a few cold ones.

Here's another quickie.
Grrr. (http://rapidshare.com/files/45391385/REC0002_01.wav.html)
EDIT: There's a special guest voice at the ending.

Nobody's listening to this stuff?
I'll record myself smashing my guitar into my amp.

Should I have posted this in the other music section?
Or does anyone give a rat's ass...
Fuck it. Ima keep bumping it cause I'll have a new riff every other day. So, if anyone feels like listening to it, you'll know where it is.
I like the first one much better than the second one. I wasn't really feeling the delayed out bits though.
Were the guest vocals at the end of the second one the Predator?

Yeah, the first one was pretty good. I thought it was and it's actually just a 7 min song. The second one just came to mind while tanked on some Jameson so, it was rather sloppy. You mean the second segment of the first song with the trippy effects? Hmm, I like those effects. Oh well.

Hahah, good ear. My buddies are constantly bugging me to do that whenever I'd see them.
