you know how in gmail, when you read an email, there are context-sensitive ads on the right side of the screen, that are based on what's being said in the emails?

well i'm currently communicating with a potential employer; i'm setting up a job interview, and the ads on the right side of the screen are:

Ann Coulter's Column Free

Serious Conspiracy Topics
Visit AboveTopSecret.com for intelligent debate & discussion.

NObama '08 bumper sticker
Send your message loud and clear! He is too young and inexperienced!

The Right Wing Conspiracy

there's nothing actually in the emails about anne coulter, or right wing conspiracies, or obama, so i dunno where that's coming from. maybe gmail knows something i don't

Yeah... that would be kind of scary stuff to come up for no reason. Is there anything like, maybe their... I don't know. Provider or anything?

gmail is connected to your google searches and your cookies.

that little chat feature made it so now people on gmail never sign out of their email. since its brother google seems to be the only engine people use, all that info - the emails you get and recieve, the searches you make and the things you buy - gets tied together and google makes cash by sending you crap they think you will click on. google owns you.

If Google is all-powerful, maybe the sequels will turn out well.
