For those who aren't familiar, Restaurant Week was started in NYC, and now has spread throughout the country. It's where normally very high-end establishments offer a 3-course meal for a fixed price. This year the prices are $20.07 for lunch or $33.07 for dinner. Not cheap, but at many of these places an entree alone would set you back that much.

There's usually a choice of 3-4 items each for appetizer, entree and dessert. Drinks and tip are not included.

For those who are getting dressed up for the Gala, it might be nice to tie it in with a nice dinner at a reasonable price!

Reservations can be hard to find, so try to make them in advance. I'll be dining at the Beacon Hill Bistro on Sunday and Aura on Monday. And note that some restaurants aren't having a discounted menu on Sunday evening, so check the fine print.
