WTF? Sure about 90% of the money was for the name and the image but you can't deny that Beckham is a better football player than most of the MLS put together. Sure he hit a slump a year or two ago but at the moment he is England's best player and will be sorely missed by Real.

yeah, this league really rewards the people who keep at it week by week. saying that though, last season I forgot about my team in September and still ended up coming third.

United again fail to win. without Rooney, Ronaldo or Saha, they definitely seem to lack movement and creativity up front. Tevez is still playing himself in, so there's some hope there. but otherwise, pretty average to say the least.

as for the fantasy league. sex panther and I rule supreme. who is sex panther by the way? nastee, without a man to guide your choices you seem to be having a little bit of trouble. are you going to throw in the towel already? you're doing almost as bad as paul jones, who readily admits his constant failure in fantasy leagues.

a little bit of both. i got 4th last year even though i wouldn't consider myself to be a 'die hard' futbol fan or anything...but any saturday i'm not working i usually spend in front of the tv watching games....this week was rough cause i got a total of one half of a point from my forwards. drogba killed me :(




edit: essien killed me too, which would mean both of the chlesea twats i picked this week scored me a grand total of -3 points.

yeah, it was always going to be hard for Chelsea to get much out of the game in Liverpool. they were extremely lucky to get a draw. they used their typical bully tactics on the ref, who caved and gave a very suspect penalty.

I didn't think Essien was actually going to play. he had been under a bit of an injury cloud, so I went with Malbranque instead, who, playing against Derby, was a good bet to do something. thankfully he produced.

I persevered with Torres. he's quality and hopefully he'll be scoring more like that in future. top player.

4 points out of 5th for me. not bad for my first time. i got the hang of it in the second half of the campaign. just got nicked on the last day for first on the 2nd half performance.
