it was the first time I ever saw it on a menu. and I was like, "omg, na§tee drinks that".

except I said "man-grrs". oops. the waiter said "would you like a glass of ice with your MAGners?" and I was like, "oh, uh, yes".

because in my head all these years I always said "mangrrs". :o

it tasted good. it was $4.50. miller lite was $4! disgusting jerks.

it was at a place that's a bar/music venue/restaurant. my gentleman friend had never eaten there without getting the band menu and he was shocked by the prices. meh, my $9 cheeseburger was lackluster at best. his $8 macaroni and cheese was pretty tasty though. at least we got to sit outside.

teehee! yes, i do indeed drink that.

i am glad you liked it. oooh, magners. i remember when i first posted a picture of me drinking it here, and someone was like "na§tee, is that... ice in your pint????!" why yes, yes it is! magners over ice. nom nom nom.

i had one for the first time in a while last night (budgetary constraints and wannabe health consciousness are reducing my previously legendary cider consumption), actually, was tasty. long may your magners drinking continue, sarks! (y)

I have never had any form of cider, seemed to have been Britain's exception to underage cider/20 20 drinking in parks.

*goody two shoes*

I think I would like it as I like apples but I am going to see how long I can last without trying it.

I had a Magner's for the first time last week. It was pretty good. I generally prefer cider in the autumn though, it just seems to me like an autumnal beverage. But, as we've had pretty much autumnal weather all summer, I guess it works. I'm not a huge cider fan but I do like it now and again.

There used to be a place in the west village in NYC called the Pot Belly Stove that served a drink that was half cider, half lager with a generous splash of cranberry juice and a lime wedge. It was really rather yummy.

We sell it in the bar I work in, but I've never had a bottle. I've maybe had a sip, clearly didnt make an impression on me.

But it is pretty popular.
*Would you like a glass with ice with it?*

Gaymers = crap name for a probably crap product that has the word gay in it so nobody will buy it. dumbass manufacturers.

I seen this for the first time the other day. The bar I work at also sells this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Gay_Rum) although I don't think I've ever sold it or heard of anyone else selling it, presumable for the same reason you gave for no one buying gaymers.

The drink in question doesn't belong to somebody called Magner.

Kopparberg Pear Cider = Mint.

You cant call Magners "piss" and be all about the gayest of all "trendy" ciders.

Koppabergis nice, but it's sickly.

In Ireland Magners is called Bulmers. But in England whats called Bulmers has nothing to do with Magners, they have Magners (which is our Bulmers). Its confusing. There's talk there gonna change it to Magners here in Ireland.

MY girlfriend drinks Magners/Bulmers.

Finally it makes sense!
Here we have Bulmers in some places, but no-one has Magners.
I think I might've had Magners when in UK. Here I usually drink Kopparbergs Pear cider, even tho elderflower is really good as well,
but not that many places have it. Sometimes I do long for something more drier and had some the other day
and can't remember whose it was!

Weston's Perry is the real man's cider. It has a delicious pear flavour, comes in a cool long bottle and, best and most important of all, is 7.4% volume. After two or three of those badboys you're already on the way. (y)

Magners is expensive in the UK. If my knowledge of the economy is up to scratch, you bought your bottle for about £2.25, which is almost a pound cheaper than what we pay over here for one bottle.

I don't particularly like it, or cider for that matter, but Kopperburg is rather lush.

Nice one! Warsteiner is my absolute favourite but is quite hard to get hold of round here, although my local asian run alcohol emporium occasionally stocks it :D
