Wow...that was the SHIT!!! Neck snappin, for sure! Had me from the begining, and carried it all the way through. The Bridge was bad as hell. As was the intro into third verse.:D(y)

Yeah, It kinda gives ya' the "Night At The Roxbury" neck!:D

I was gonna' put more changes but I kind of miss old repetetive hip-hop! If it grooves, let it be!

I like it. I like it a lot. I'm downloading it for my fave mixes in fact. :)

Are they premade loops you've used or did you build it from the ground up? The sound quality is good so it doesn't sound like timestretched loops.

I'm interested to hear what people are using and how they're doing this.

Cheers,
Kim.

Glad you like it! Thanks!

I don't usually sample, I usually play all of my music but the groove was sampled and I played bass underneath. It was an old track that I created awhile back. I'll make people guess where the sample is from..70's for sure.

The drums are from a friends 60's Gretsch and Sonar kit(s), for more of a modern punch I added the electronic low end kick and extra snare.

I used Ableton Live and Acid. Ableton is a ton of fun, good way to sketch ideas really quick! It's like having a 4-track!
