i'm indecisive and need help

should i cut my hair short, oh god what should i do? i've been trying to grow it out for a while now and it looks like a scenester mullet and i really miss my short cute style. i used to get tons of compliments with that cut, and i don't really think long hair is "me." OH GOD MY APPOINTMENT IS IN AN HOUR

i accidentally had a mullet once

i grew my hair out really long (didn't get a haircut for 2 years; no real reason except i was lazy), and then finally i had enough and got it cut. but it was such an exhausting experience for the lady cutting my hair that neither of us paid much attention to the finished result. it was a little too long in the back. it wasn't quite noticeable at first, but after a week or two POW, mulletville: population me

i was in denial about it for a while, until i was at a party one day and some guy goes "hell yeah, business in the front party in the back" so i killed him and got a haircut

You know, I can't even imagine you with really long hair. It's like trying to picture TPK with short hair.

I struggle with a similar problem every few weeks. A bit over a year ago I got mine cut short short, like above my ears, and everyone said I looked like a 12 year old boy. Then I started trying to grow it out and always got sick of it and ended up getting it cut again once it started to get to the awkward point. Whenever I mention growing it out long everyone says how I look better with short hair, but I think that's theoretical. The problem is I can never get a good short hair cut. One hair cut lady said she has the same hair as mine and it just doesn't work short because its so straight that you can't really do anything with it and you just have the 12 year old boy hair instead of funky awesome cute short girl haircut.

Now it's almost practically nearly where I want it to be. The back go to be the length I'd like all of it, but I had to get that cut off while I wait for the rest of it to catch up, and still I wonder if I should just get it cut all short again and go for the 12 year old boy look again.

It really hurts when you go to pick up your birth control pills and the pharmacist lady calls you "sir." :(
