im not sure if i spelled that right... in any case, i recommend them. i just got a set a few days ago. those cheap ol' regular ear buds never seem to fit my ear right so i was looking for something better, and i didn't want to look like a dork with actual headphones. goodness knows i cant have headphones bigger than my mp3 player...
in any case, it's like this. the part you stick in your ear is mashy foam like what they make earplugs out of. if you're unfamiliar with that particular kind of ear plug, its kind of like memory foam, only something more durable, and your roll it up and stick it in your ear and it expands to make a seal. so yeah, thats what you do with these. i can have my music at about quarter to third volume and be happily oblivious to my surroundings.
just felt like sharing.
downside: they come in ghey colors
Nicely shared. I could go for some of those.

ah, they're JVC http://images.tigerdirect.ca/itemDetails/J109-1058/J109-1058-out-kg.jpg
the lighest blue part is the part that you roll smaller and stick in. they're pretty nifty.

they were more than i would have liked to spend, but apparently all headphones these days are more expensive than i would have liked to spend.

Yep, I just paid 99 bucks for the Bose in ear headphones. They come with 3 different sizes, small, medium and large. I can only use the small ones and they still annoy the shit outta my ears. And to top it off, I lost one of my small ones so, I basically paid 99 bucks to have those things sit on my dresser while I wear my over ear ones.
