I'm fed up with Perth. It's not that it's a bad place, I just hate the people. Between lawless bogans, and hipster fucks, I can't seem to make it my home. That's not to say that's all that Perth is; I know at least two lovely people here who don't fit those categories (thanks BBMB).

I think my problem is that my homesickness never died. I wouldn't really want to spend the rest of my life back in Dunedin, but I could go for being within driving distance. Anti-Christchurch is a nice city too (one of the nicest).

I raised the idea over dinner with the missus the other night. It would be tough to take her away from her family. Me, I could just go. And if I did, it would probably push my folks into going back to NZ, too.

Not really sure why I'm posting this. I want to do the move in theory, but I'd probably never go through with it.
