it wouldn't be too weird. i get requests from people i don't know, barely know or just met. it's all apart of the myspace thing.

k- here's the dilemma about the request before msg.

I went to see a band with a guy I hooked up with. I was there for a weekend with him and that day he had made it perfectly clear that he was not interested, as a matter of fact he seemed mortified to be with me in public.
Anyway, we get to the show, and at the door I see this guy that piqued my interest. The guy I was with is friends of the band and we were back talking to them before the show and other guy turns out to be back there as well. Seemed like a very friendly, nice guy, totally cute, but I'm there with guy A and I feel like a total beastoid from the way he's been treating me all day. Honestly, if I could have crawled under a rock I would have. Anyway, I proceed to get drunk (massively) during the show, and guy A has totally drifted off to get the fuck away from me which you could tell he was itching to do all night. Some guy I'm not interested in hits on me and being a drunk girl I get upset because A.; it's not the guy I went with and B. It's not guy B, but why would it be if guy A thinks I'm horrid then wtf would cute nice guy B want anything to do with me either. drunk thoughts, gotta love them. anyway, I go outside for air, get dissoriented, get lost for hrs, finally get back to the hotel, don't talk to guy A again. I'm a fan of the band though, and have had them on Myspace as a friend. One day I'm leaving a comment about a vid someone else posted and notice guy B. has left a comment too. I get all girly and ridic, and have been checking out his space but too chicken to say anything.

BTW I'm a complete moron when it comes to guys as I'm sure this is pretty obvious if you bothered to read this.

So I'd feel awkward requesting as a friend as I think he knows guy A but not well, and he may remember me from that night.

The insane part of my brain (yes, most of it) keeps telling me to msg him though.
