I RARELY ever do this. Just ask anyone, some of my best friends are remixers... that sir was rough. Just in case wherever you are from "rough" is equivalent to good, that is not what I mean. I wish I could give some advice, but as I am not a remixer I can not.

I started listening to it, and I thought, is bigfatlove crazy? This is pretty good. Then it hit me. i think the "rough" that he is refering to is the sync of the vocals. For the most part, they are on time, but they jump around back and forth from being dead on, to a quarter measure off, then (at the end of the second verse), to something I had no idea. A quarter measure off is cool, it funks it up, but i think it's hard to get into the jam when it jumps around.

i know what you guys mean. the timing should actually be correct (me thinks). but because i sped up the bpm it will never be sounding as laid back and groovy as in the much slower/original bb-version. (at least i wasen't able to figure it out..)

what sounds great and a tad off the beat increases so much more when one speeds it up and you'll notice it at every corner of the rhyme.

guess i learned something today.

btw: i is not a remixer per se. this was a one time experiment, but thanks for the replies.. ;-)

btwbtw: i'll go with the original bpm then..

Don't take it bad, these guys are trying to help, and I've seen guys come here needing help and they turned out to be great mixers... We're all friends here.

Dead on. If I came off like a prick, sorry. I just don't know enough about it to pretend to give someone advice.

I really like that electro track. would be great if you could adjust the rhymes.

First verse is better - second verse is PERFECT... Mike D's part in first verse is still a little iffy, but overall, much easier to jam to - thus much more enjoyable!:D(y)
