I think i've listened to it about 3 times. Sounds a bit pretentious to me.

No, this forum is completely devoid of any opinion on The Mix Up. Nobody here has anything to say about it. At all.

i didn't know what you were talking about for a few moments. i'm going to see the boys in september, twice. i haven't bought the stuff tho, not too bothered.
Yeah I bought it and listened to it. I thought this is alright, will make good background music. That was the only time I listened to the album. I'm sure i will listen to it once in a while but it really does not do much for me.

I bought it and then burnt it on a cd along with "the in sound from way out" but mixed all the tracks up.
makes for better listening.

I haven't heard it yet. I would like to, I'm curious, but I don't really have the cash right now to spend $20 on a CD I'm not sure I'll absolutely love. Definitely sounds interesting, but being a poor college student, obtaining it isn't high on my list of things to do.
I'm proud of them though, for doing so well with an album that got no advertising or publicity and didn't they get like #1 on the rap charts? For not even a rap CD. That's how amazing they are. The B-boys are so good and rap today is so shite that they automatically are the best rap even if they aren't rapping.

I was going to buy it but then I thought I'd just go ahead and burn the money instead.
i kind of like it as background music. i studied to it for a while, but then i got sick of it

Not a big fan. It's really boring and nothing really interesting ever pops up :(

Decent background music, I only like two or three of the tracks. I know they are getting old, but I prefer words come out of their mouths.

I like words in my background music because then it disguises the fact I'm alone.

New page?
I've thought about buying it, then thought I'd be disappointed. I'm more a fan of their lyrics than instrumentals.
I guess if it's even listenable, I'll be pleasantly surprised, then.

I was extremely bitter about the instrumental announcement, but now that I've listened to the album I really dig it.
Off The Grid is my jam.
I was real disappointed it was instrumental. I love the way they rhyme cultural references and how adrock gets a bit of a mouse squeaky voice going. hmmfflpgarr.
It's stuff like this that i miss, but i still like this album.
It's really great mellow music for when you're working/studying and shit, which is good because i've grown sick of all my massive attack albums recently :D
