I didn't really use to like them, but I've definitely grown into them. That new track Down Boy is a cracker. When Karen O the singer goes 'huh!' my loins tingle.


Edit: I just noticed the same kind of thread about 6 inches down. Oh well. The band is that good that they deserve 2 threads.

i've not heard of this new song you speak of, but i love the fever to tell album. i'm not as big a fan of um... whatever that album is with the YYY flag for the cover.

Weren't they an actual punk group in 2002? Now they just sound like some generic local act. That fucking high-hat rhythm thing they always do is boring to me.

I just measured it on my computer with a standard tape measure, here in Seattle the other thread is only a half inch or less down.

I never thought twice about em until I caught em at Coachella in 06. Karen's energy live, sucked me right in. I've been a fan ever since. The Is Is EP is kinda grittier. It's growin on me though. Her voice is powerful. I get the chills when she goes "woo hoo" in Gold Lion!
