You don't need to catch up. Just go see this film and you will want to see the others.

It will be like watching Star Wars except you won't be tricked.

Uh -- no no no no.

Go rent the first two and watch 'em. Seriously. You want to see them in order.

It is building, plus, uh... some stuff happens that we can't talk about without big spoilers.

For what it's worth, I rented both about a month ago and watched them again back to back, and it was fine. First one still holds up about the same, second one got a little better.

I saw it, thought it was good, but I was disappointed. This was the first one that seemed predictable, like all the cards falling in play when you've got a loner hand in euchre. It probably works best if you watch all three together, so it seems like the inevitable stuff happening in the last chapter instead of as a stand-alone film.

It's a crowd, pleaser, that's for sure. It's got the predictable action movie beats and a few things are even played for laughs off Bourne's/Webb's character, because we know him by now. He's indestructible, whereas in the first couple, there was a real, sense of surprise and danger. This time, he just had a movie to roll through, and I think it kind of suffered for that.

This sounds more negative than I felt about it, though. It's fine, it's well done. It's just that this one wasn't dangerous.

7/10

Noone is tricked watching "The Empire strikes back" or "Return of the Jedi". Those other movies are just... I don't know, but not Star Wars... :(

Yep, it made me laugh. Especially when Guillermo slapped Damon and ran into the wall.

I am off to get Fractured and The Lookout.

i thought it was the best film of the entire trilogy. it was a really entertaining, really fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat spy thriller. there were only a few moments where the relentless tension would cease. but what i really liked was how you got to see more in the fight scenes this time, as opposed to the fights in supremacy, which were nothing more than the shaky camera tactic.

The Bourne Ultimatum kicks ass, punches head, thumps belly and pokes in eye.

Faar too much shakey-cam though. But yeah, pretty good. Completely fucking stupid (the CIA can do anything they want from their laptops - "quickly turn on his telly and fry him some eggs so we confuse him")

Greengrass has got this style down to a fine art. at it's core it's probably about as smart as a Chuck Norris film, but it's delivered so slick and smooth, that it's impossible to resist. I paid my 10$ to watch Bourne travel the world and kick ass and that's exactly what I got. most excellent.

I dunno. Watched it during my recent hospital stay. Have not seen the prequels.

What the hell? It's all a big fucking chase. There was like one scripted page of dialogue in the whole thing. Wasn't a bit exiting. Felt nothing for any of the characters. The girl was lame.

I liked it. I did not like the close up fight scenes (again). Its hard to tell whats going on. and the whole "You really don't remember, do you?" made me want to throw something. Overall, I liked it.

Pure trash! The whole "process" scenes, where FBI/CIA head honcho people are telling people on the ground what to do is so outplayed, so fucking boring, so mid nintes computer gamer-ish bullshit makes me mad. What a waste of my time.

I give it a one
